Cebu Pacific (CEB), the low-fare airline business of the Gokongwei group, transfers part of its domestic operations to NAIA Terminal 3 today.

Cebu Pacific will initially operate flights from Manila to Boracay (Caticlan), Laoag, Naga, San Jose (Mindoro), and Tuguegarao out of Terminal 3.

Other domestic flights will remain at the Manila Domestic Airport Terminal while all international flights will continue to operate at the NAIA Terminal 1.

Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific VP for marketing and product, said, “The new terminal will be able to accommodate our growing passenger base and more importantly, offer a better passenger experience. We hope to transfer the rest of our domestic operations to Terminal 3 after a few days.”

Cebu Pacific is the single largest domestic airline in the country today and is the leading airline from the Philippines to the ASEAN region.

Iyog added, “Once we have completed the transfer of our domestic operations into Terminal 3, we intend to move our international operations as well. This will allow us to operate efficiently and give passengers availing of our domestic to international connections a hassle-free experience.”

Cebu Pacific has the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines. It operates ten A319, eight A320, and two ATR 72-500.
