Cebu Pacific (CEB), started its international services from the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) to Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore on November 8, 2008. The airline began its four-times weekly Clark-Macau service on the next day.

Lance Gokongwei, president and CEO of Cebu Pacific, led his team and airline crew in sending off the maiden flights. Also in support of the airlines’ operations in Clark is Victor Jose Luciano, president and CEO of Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), officials from Department of Tourism, and international tourism boards.
Cebu Pacific’s first international flight from Clark was bound for Hong Kong and kicked off at 7:15am using an Airbus A319 aicraft. The daily flight arrived in Hong Kong at 9:05am. The return trip left Hong Kong at 10:00am and landed at 11:50am in Clark.
The Clark-Bangkok thrice-weekly service departs at 1:45pm and lands in Bangkok at 3:50pm. It departs for Clark at 4:20pm and arrives in DMIA at 8:25pm.
The Clark-Singapore daily service takes off at 9:35pm and arrives in the Singapore Budget Terminal at 12:45am of the following day.

Gokongwei said, “We are confident that our new international services from Clark will increase the accessibility of Central and Northern Luzon to foreign tourists and investors. This will also provide new opportunities for the region’s travel and tourism industry.”

Now in its 13th year, Cebu Pacific has the youngest fleet in the country with 10 Airbus A319, nine Airbus A320 and four ATR 72-500 aircraft. It will fly to 27 domestic destinations with the addition of Ozamiz, and Surigao this month and 15 international destinations, including Osaka, Japan.
