Cebu Pacific slashes fares to Bangkok, increases frequencies, Cebu Pacific offers promo fares, P1,999 ‘Go Lite’ seats

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) offers a seat sale to Bangkok from February 1-2, 2011 or until seats last, for travel this May 1 to June 30, 2011.

Passengers can avail of P1,999 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila and Clark to Bangkok. Those with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

After the seat sale, the lowest year-round ‘Go Lite’ fare is P3,499 for Manila and Clark to Bangkok.

Cebu Pacific flies to Bangkok ten times weekly from Manila, and twice weekly from Clark. The airline previously announced additional Bangkok flights from Manila, and is set to add Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday flight frequencies to its current daily schedule starting February 6, 2011.

“Bangkok is a great shopping destination, while Thailand’s beaches have interesting resorts. We hope passengers will take advantage of this seat sale for their leisure and business travel,” said Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

Low-fare pioneer, Cebu Pacific ended 2010 with the youngest and only 100% brand-new aircraft fleet in the Philippines, composed of 10 Airbus A319, 14 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. It operates to 33 domestic and 16 international destinations from Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao.
