Cebu Pacific offers P2,499 promo

Cebu Pacific Air (CEB), Asia’s third largest low-cost carrier, offers a P2,499 seat sale for the Manila-Osaka route starting September 15-21, 2009. This is valid for travel from October 15-December 15, 2009.

The travel period for this seat sale coincides with the fall season of the Kansai area, which covers Osaka and Kyoto. Kyoto is half an hour away from Osaka by special service train.

Cebu Pacific Airlines flies from Manila to Osaka every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The service departs Manila at 2:00pm, and departs Osaka at 7:20pm.

“Tourists flock to Kyoto’s fall foliage spots such as Arashiyama, Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Kyoto Imperial Palace from mid-October to early December. It is our pleasure to provide more opportunities for travel to Japan, especially during such a beautiful season,” said Cebu Pacific VP for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.

“Similarly, those who would want to visit the Philippines before the Christmas rush will now get their chance. Our value fares are meant to stimulate tourism between the two countries. Traveling to Japan and back is now more affordable with Cebu Pacific,” she added.

The airline’s Manila-Osaka service started last November 2008.
