Cebu Pacific cuts fares by 50% for all domestic and international destinations

Gokongwei-owned Cebu Pacific (CEB) offers 50% off its fares for all domestic and international destinations from November 12-13, 2009. This is for travel from January 15, 2010 to March 15, 2010.

Cebu Pacific flies to 14 international destinations including Jakarta, Osaka, Incheon (via Manila and Cebu), Pusan (via Cebu), Macau (via Manila and Clark), Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taipei, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok (via Manila and Clark), and Ho Chi Minh.

The airline also flies to Hong Kong and Singapore from Manila, Clark and Cebu.

Aside from international flights, Cebu Pacific has the most extensive network in the Philippines, with a total of 32 domestic destinations including Kalibo (Boracay), Cauayan, Catarman, Calbayog, Busuanga (Coron), Naga, San Jose (Mindoro) and Zamboanga.

“As of October 31, Cebu Pacific has flown nearly 7.3 million passengers, surpassing the 6.7 million number of passengers flown last year. This is our way of thanking our passengers for their continued support, and to encourage every Juan to take advantage of our value fares for their leisure and business travel,” said Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

She added, “We have the flights and frequencies that are convenient for same-day returns, as well as inter-island direct flights. With this, we hope to see an increase in domestic and international travel, as this will benefit local and inbound tourism in the country.”

Passengers are advised to book their flights early through www.cebupacificair.com, or Cebu Pacific’s reservations hotlines (02)70-20-888 and (032)230-88-88, or their travel agents. Those without credit cards can still book online and pay via Cebu Pacific partner banks.

High-quality low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific is the Philippine’s leading airline, with the country’s youngest aircraft fleet, composed of 21 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR72-500 aircraft. It has flown over 36 million passengers since its inception in 1996.
