One of Asia’s fastest growing airlines, Cebu Pacific (CEB) announces a new destination within the ASEAN Region! Brunei Darussalam will be the airline’s 15th international route. With this, Cebu Pacific launches the new route with a seat sale promo.

Cebu Pacific (CEB) announces that it will begin flying to the State of Brunei Darussalam starting August 21, 2010. With this official announcement comes an P899 ‘Go Lite’ seat sale to promote the new route, with the sale period from June 2-4, 2010, for travel August 21 to November 30, 2010.

Cebu Pacific is slated to operate a twice weekly service from Manila to the Nation of Brunei using an Airbus aircraft. It leaves Manila at 11:50pm, and the return flight departs Brunei at 2:25am.

Bandar Seri Begawan, the center of Brunei’s commerce, finance and government, is home to beautiful mosques, the Kampong Ayer water village, and the Istana Nurul Iman, which is the Sultan’s lavish home and the largest residential palace in the world.

The seat sale fare of P899 is 68% less than the lowest year-round ‘Go Lite’ fare of P2,899, which will be offered after the seat sale period.

Moreover, flights from Manila to Busuanga, Dumaguete, Laoag and Naga are up for grabs for the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P499. Those going from Manila and Cebu to Hong Kong, and Manila to Macau and vice versa can also avail of P1,499 seats. These are for travel from July 1 to August 31, 2010.

Passengers with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

“We hope this will give more opportunities to travel to and from Brunei, for visiting family and friends over the weekend or for business travel. With our trademark low fares, convenient thrice weekly schedule and constant seat sales, we expect there will be a big demand for Cebu Pacific flights to Brunei,” said Cebu Pacific VP for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.

“Naming our 15th international destination is one more step towards our expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. We are expecting delivery of 22 more brand-new Airbus A320 until 2014, which will be used to bring our low fares to more markets,” she added.
