Cebu Pacific Air maintains zero fuel surcharges, Cebu Pacific cuts fares by 50%, Cebu Pacific Airlines offers 120,000 promo seats in international seat sale promo

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) announced that it will maintain zero fuel surcharges, and proceeded to lower its fares by offering a 50% off seat sale promo to any international destination from January 29-31, 2011 or until seats last.

For travel from April 1-May 31, 2011, Cebu Pacific offers 50% off its lowest fares to any of its 16 international destinations.

This destinations are Kota Kinabalu, Taipei, Singapore, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Macau, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, Brunei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Jakarta, Busan and Osaka.

“We aim to stimulate even more travel with the 120,000 seats we are putting up for this 50% off seat sale. The airline remains committed to offering the public the most affordable fares, coupled with a 100% brand-new aircraft fleet,” said Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

Cebu Pacific remains the only Philippine carrier to offer fares without fuel surcharges. It first removed fuel surcharges in 2009.

She added,” By maintaining zero fuel surcharges, passengers can easily compare airfare with other airlines. We hope this continues to support the growth of tourism, trade and international travel.”

Low-fare pioneer, Cebu Pacific ended 2010 with the youngest and only 100% brand-new aircraft fleet in the Philippines, composed of 10 Airbus A319, 14 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. It operates to 33 domestic and 16 international destinations from Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao.
