The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) slashes fares to 7 international cities from June 21 to 23, 2011 or until seats last, for travel from August 1 to September 30, 2011.

Passengers can buy P888 seats from Cebu to Hong Kong, and from Manila to Kota Kinabalu. They can also buy P1,488 seats from Manila to Brunei or Taipei.

P2,099 seats from Manila to Osaka, and from Manila or Cebu to Busan or Incheon (Seoul) are also up for grabs.

This seat sale fare is 65% less than CEB’s lowest year-round fare for Osaka, which is P5,999. CEB’s lowest fares to South Korea are up to one-fifth the fares of other Philippine carriers and up to one-fourth the fares of foreign carriers. The seat sale fare is 49% less than CEB’s lowest fare to South Korea.

Meanwhile, for travel from October 1 to December 31, 2011, P488 seats are available from Manila to Kota Kinabalu.

Guests can avail of their Prepaid Baggage Allowances upon booking, for travel savings as much as 63% on domestic flights compared to buying baggage allowance at the airport.

“These 7 international destinations have various offerings for a budget traveler. The less they spend on airfare, the more they can shop and explore. We encourage guests to book in advance and take advantage of CEB’s lowest fares,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

For example, the Visit Korea promotion offers free shuttle transportation for pre-registered international visitors’ day trips to cities outside Seoul. The Hong Kong Spectacular, held until August 31, 2011, offers special hotel packages, shopping incentives and even the chance to catch a glimpse of an international dragon boat race.

“Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia is also home to the tallest mountain in Southeast Asia, Mount Kinabalu. A lot of climbers, divers and nature lovers can plan an itinerary around Kota Kinabalu’s lush rainforests, diverse marine life and challenging mountain trail,” she added.
