The Cebu Pacific Airways Zambo-CDO flights will be thrice a week using Aibus A319 planes. The flight from Cagayan de Oro City in the northern side of Mindanao will depart at 6:05 AM on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while the return flight from Zamboanga City in Western side leaves at 7:45 AM.
Charlie Manio, Cebu Pacific Airways Advertising and Promotions Director, stated that one of priorities of CEB in launching the new CDO-Zambo route is to help make this city a “top of mind destination for domestic and visiting travelers, pushing it to be a hub for tourism, trade, government and education.” She continued, “We believe this (route) will open up more opportunities in Mindanao, since these two cities will just be an hour and 10 minutes plane ride away as compared to land transport.”
