Cebu Pacific taps major China, Taiwan markets with two-day seat sale for as low as P999 for November-February travel

Asia’s third-largest low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) spreads its trademark low fares to those traveling to and from Taipei, Guangzhou, Macau, Shanghai and Hong Kong this November 15, 2009 to February 28, 2010.

The sale period is only from October 22-23, 2009, and those with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

Manila-Taipei flights are up for grabs for only ‘Go Lite’ P999, while flights from Manila to Guangzhou, Macau and Shanghai, and from Cebu to Hong Kong, are only ‘Go Lite’ P1,499.

“These destinations as a whole constitute our largest international market, and we hope to sustain our lead with this seat sale. It’s certainly a treat to our passengers who are planning to travel to China and Taiwan this November to February,” said Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

Cebu Pacific has the most number of routes to China and Taiwan compared to other domestic airlines, and approximately 134 flights weekly from Manila, Clark and Cebu.

For those traveling to and from Clark from October 15 to December 31, 2009, the airline also has an ongoing 30 kilos free baggage allowance promo for Macau and Hong Kong flights.

We also have an P888 seat sale for flights from Manila to Catarman and Calbayog, and from Cebu and Manila to Tacloban. We encourage our passengers to call our reservations hotlines (02) 7020-888 or (032) 230-8888 or check out www.cebupacificair.com for more details on these seat sales and promos,” she added.

Leading Philippine carrier Cebu Pacific also flies to Hong Kong from Manila, Cebu and Clark, and to Macau from Manila and Clark, using one of the youngest fleets of aircraft in Asia.
