Low-fare airline Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) inaugurates its daily direct flights from Manila to Naga City today.
Using Cebu Pacific’s brand new ATR 72-500 aircraft, the daily service departs from Manila at 1:15pm and arrives in Naga at 2:10pm. The return flight to Manila departs at 2:30pm and arrives at 3:25pm.
The lowest year-round ‘all-inclusive fare’ for the Manila-Naga service starts at P988 one-way.
Naga is Cebu Pacific’s 23rd domestic destination after it recently started its Manila-Tuguegarao service last week. The airline will also start flying to San Jose (Mindoro) next week.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific spokesperson said, “The opening of our direct Manila-Naga daily service will increase the accessibility of Camarines Sur to both business and leisure travelers of varied economic backgrounds. This will also attract more local and foreign tourists to experience the world-class water sports facility in Naga.”
She added, “As we continue to offer the lowest year round ‘all inclusive fare’ to Naga, air travel is now an affordable option to passengers from Camarines Sur. Our ‘all inclusive fares’ is very comparable to and competitive with bus fares that cost P700.”
Iyog concluded, “Other airlines that used to monopolize this route have also reduced their fares since we announced our entry. So this benefits not only our passengers but also those traveling with our competitors too.”
