Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading domestic airline with the most number of flights and destinations from the Philippines to the ASEAN region, inaugurates its Singapore-Davao service today.

The non-stop Singapore-Davao A319 service is offered three-times weekly (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday). The flight departs from Singapore at 11:59pm and arrives at the Davao International Airport at 3:15am the following day. The flight to Singapore departs from Davao at 08:00pm and arrives at the Singapore Budget Terminal at 11:15pm. The Davao-Singapore service is also scheduled to operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and Product said, “We are very excited to be operating a direct service from Singapore to Davao because we know that this new offering will entice many Singaporeans and foreign travelers alike to visit the rich island of Mindanao with its wonderful adventure and leisure attractions.”

We know that our trademark low fares will encourage many Filipinos in the Southern cities of the Philippines to travel to Singapore, one of Asia’s most vibrant and progressive cities.”

Cebu Pacific is the only Filipino airline operating a direct Singapore-Davao service. It also operates a four-times weekly (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) service from Singapore to Cebu. The airline operates a daily flight from Singapore to Manila; that will become a twice daily service starting June 30, 2008.

Cebu Pacific offers a SGD 69 one-way year round fare from Singapore to Davao, Cebu, and Manila. This is 68% lower than the current fares for these routes. The fare is exclusive of government taxes and applicable surcharges.

Iyog added, “The best way to book your flights is through www.cebupacificair.com, though this is also available through accredited travel agents.”

Now on its 13th year, Cebu Pacific operates flights to 21 domestic destinations and flies to 14 and soon to be 16 international destinations with the addition of Kaohsiung and Kota Kinabalu in the coming months.
