Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s leading domestic airline, will publish its monthly On-Time Performance (OTP) in its website, cebupacificair.com starting this month.

Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution, said, “We are committed to doing our best in making each flight depart on-time. By uploading our OTP on our website, we will always be reminded to perform according to world standards.”

Based on international practices, a flight is considered on-time if it departs within 15 minutes from the original estimated time of departure.

Cebu Pacific continues to perform at world class level with an 84.8% OTP for its system-wide operation for the month of September 2008. This includes flights originating from the all domestic and international airports that Cebu Pacific currently serves.

The airline’s combined OTP for domestic and international operations has significantly improved after its transfer to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

Iyog added, “We will continue to look for ways to further deliver a better product and exemplify high quality Filipino service for our growing passenger base.”

“We hope that Cebu Pacific will set a precedent among Philippine carriers to publish their monthly OTPs in their website because this will make all carriers conscious about delivering on-time service,” she concluded.

Now in its 13th year, Cebu Pacific has the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines. It will fly to 27 domestic destinations with the addition of Ozamiz, and Surigao next month and 15 international destinations with the addition of Osaka, Japan on November 20, 2008.
