Cebu Pacific (CEB) recently transferred its domestic and international operations to Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA-3). During the opening, Cebu Pacific passengers received goodies courtesy of URC, Nescafe, Malayan, Pepsi, Hot Loops, and Colgate-Palmolive.
“The new terminal will be able to accommodate our growing passenger base and more importantly, offer a better passenger experience,” says Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific VP for marketing and product. Compared to the Domestic Terminal, the spanking new NAIA-3 offers a more spacious check-in area, with 28 state-of-the-art counters allocated to Cebu Pacific as compared to 22 counters at the cramped check-in section of the Domestic Terminal. What’s more, there are nine boarding gates now – that’s five more than the domestic airport’s four. Cebu Pacific currently operates 848 domestic flights and 230 international flights per week. “Now that we will be flying both domestic and international services under one roof, we will be able to see some operational efficiencies and offer our passengers an even better product,” emphasises Lance Gokongwei, the airline’s president and chief executive officer.
