Cebu Pacific Resumes Cebu-Diplog Routes; Manila-Dipolog Flights Still Suspended

Cebu Pacific has recently announced the resumption of flights between Cebu and Dipolog starting November 10, 2023. However, flights between Manila and Dipolog will remain suspended due to runway repairs that limit commercial jet operations.

As a result of this suspension, the following flights from November 9 to 30 have been canceled: 5J 703/704: Manila – Dipolog – Manila and 5J 705/706: Manila – Dipolog – Manila. Cebu Pacific understands the inconvenience caused by these cancellations and is taking steps to provide affected passengers with more options.

To assist affected passengers, Cebu Pacific is offering the following options, which can be availed through the Manage Booking portal on their website up to two hours before the scheduled departure time:

1. Flight Rebooking / Rerouting: Passengers can rebook or reroute their flights to any flight bound for Pagadian or Ozamiz. However, a fare difference may be applied if the new travel period extends beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.
2. Cebu Pacific Travel Fund: Passengers can store the full amount of their ticket in a virtual CEB wallet. This travel fund can be used to book a new flight or pay for add-ons such as baggage allowance or seat selection.
3. Refund: Passengers also have the option to request a full refund of their ticket.

For customers with existing bookings between Manila and Dipolog beyond November 30, Cebu Pacific will provide an update as soon as possible once the necessary runway repairs have been completed. The airline is working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines to address this matter.
