What is the Cebu Pacific Travel Voucher? The Cebu Pacific Travel Voucher is a ticket equivalent to free airfare issued by Cebu Pacific for specific purposes. Each voucher is assigned to a specific passenger name and sector and cannot be transferred or changed to any other name or origin/destination. The voucher also comes with a complimentary 20kg baggage allowance, but all other fees, such as admin and flight fees, must be shouldered by the passenger.

Passengers can receive a Cebu Pacific Travel Voucher in certain situations, such as extreme flight disruptions that occur when they are already at the airport. These disruptions include flight cancellations announced less than 24 hours before the original flight departure, terminal delays of at least six hours, flight diversions, and being denied boarding due to overbooking.

The validity of a Cebu Pacific Travel Voucher varies depending on when it was issued and which route it is for. It can be valid for six months, 12 months, or 18 months from the date of issuance. To know a voucher’s validity, passengers can check the “Redeem by” column for the expiration date.

The validity period of the Travel Voucher is the same as the travel period. Guests booking flights with Travel Vouchers must choose a travel date within the voucher validity. If the voucher is not used within the validity period, it is automatically forfeited and cannot be reinstated.

Flights booked with a Travel Voucher are not rebookable unless the flight gets disrupted. In the case of a disrupted flight, passengers can rebook the flight for travel within 30 days, and the fare difference and change fee are waived.

If a flight booked with a Travel Voucher needs to be canceled, the voucher will be forfeited. Travel Vouchers are non-rebookable, non-refundable, non-reroutable, non-transferable, and not convertible to cash. However, unused refundable government taxes may be claimed for a refund.

Travel Vouchers cannot be converted to Travel Funds. Infants without a seat are not eligible to receive a Travel Voucher unless they are at least two years old by the time of the new travel date. In such cases, passengers should contact Cebu Pacific through their agent-assisted channels.

Travel Vouchers are usually given during on-the-spot and extreme flight disruptions. They are also sent via email, so passengers should check the email they used to book the flight for the latest updates. Travel Vouchers are non-transferable and can only be redeemed by the passenger to whom it was issued.

Redeeming the Cebu Pacific Travel Voucher

To redeem a Travel Voucher, passengers can do so online through their MyCebuPacific account. They need to log in, go to the My Vouchers page, select the voucher they want to redeem, input flight and guest details, proceed to payment, and view the booking confirmation. If there are any questions or concerns, passengers can contact Cebu Pacific through their agent-assisted channels.

Here are the easy steps in redeeming the Cebu Pacific Travel Voucher:

Log in to your MyCebuPacific account.

Click “My Vouchers” to load all your Travel Vouchers.

Select the Travel Voucher you want to redeem.

Select the trip route and date/s.

Select your flight schedule.

• You can only select domestic routes if you were issued a travel voucher for a disrupted domestic flight. 
• You can only select domestic and short-haul routes if you were issued a travel voucher for a disrupted short-haul flight. 
• You can choose any available route if you were issued a travel voucher for a disrupted long-haul flight. 

Input all guest details.

Select add-ons.

In this step, you’ll also have the option to pay for PH Travel Tax, if applicable.

Pay the remaining taxes and fees.

Note that a Travel Voucher is a ticket equivalent to free airfare issued by Cebu Pacific for a particular purpose.  Each Travel Voucher comes with a complimentary 20kg baggage allowance. The passenger shall be shouldered all other fees (i.e., Admin Fee, Flight Fees, etc.).

If a passenger has redeemed a Travel Voucher but did not receive a confirmation for the new flight, they can check their MyCebuPacific account under “Bookings and Boarding Pass.” If it is not there or they do not have an account, they should contact Cebu Pacific through their agent-assisted channels for assistance.

If a passenger notices an error in the date of birth on their Travel Voucher, they can still redeem it. The voucher only captures the passenger’s name on the original flight, so it remains non-transferable. Other details, such as contact details and date of birth, can be edited if there are errors.
